Instructions regarding the submission of manuscripts:
- Submissions must be submitted electronically, in accordance with the conditions set in each call for papers published in the “Announcements” section. In case of contradiction with the present guidelines, the rules set in the calls for papers have priority.
- Submissions must be accompanied by a personal statement from the author, according to which the proposed manuscript has not been published, submitted, or accepted elsewhere.
- Submissions must include a short abstract.
- Manuscripts should normally range between 7,500–11,000 words in length, including footnotes, but excluding the abstract.
- Submissions must respect the principle of anonymity in order to ensure the efficiency of the double-blind peer review. Therefore, all submissions must include the following files:
- The text of the manuscript without any details allowing the identification of the author (which will be sent towards peer-review);
- A title page indicating the author, their e-mail address, their affiliation and the title of the article;
- A short CV of the author.
- The Romanian Yearbook of International and European Law encourages the research of works belonging to authors from historically underrepresented geographical areas, especially, but not exclusively, those from Central and Eastern Europe. Therefore, citation is not exclusively restricted to international circulation languages.
